Other questions people ask:
  • Do I have to give money?
If you are new to FBC, please don't feel any pressure to give.  People will never be pressured to give money here, but regular attenders and members are encouraged to invest in the work of ministry at FBC by generously sharing from their God-given resources.  The offerings which we receive during our services support the many ministries of our church and gives FBC the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

  • Will I understand the message even if I don't know much about the Bible?
Our messages are prepared to connect with people's lives by using the ageless wisdom of Scripture and presenting it in a creative, yet straight-forward way.  The services are designed to be easily understood by individuals checking out what it really means to have a personal relationship with Jesus as well as those who have been committed Christ-followers for many years.  We hope you'll find our services to be very helpful in your personal spiritual growth.

  • What if I come from a different faith background?
Your denominational background isn't what's important. Together, we focus on biblical truth and teachings, and pursuing an active relationship with Jesus Christ.  You don't have to be a member of a specific religious denomination to do that.

  • How do people at FBC express worship?
"Worship" involves communication with God from our hearts.  We believe in a variety of different expressions in worshiping God.  On the stage, you might see worship leaders clapping or raising their hands while they sing and the musicians playing various instruments.  Sometimes visual or performing arts are also incorporated into our services as acts of worship.  As an FBC attender, you are welcome to worship God in a way you feel expresses your heart toward Him.  For some, that's quietly reflecting on the words and, for others, that's clapping and singing out.

  • How do I get involved at FBC?
Attending weekend services is a great start, but we hope you'll move beyond being just part of our weekend crowd.  You can further your faith, meet people and learn more about life as a Christ-follower by attending an ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship)

Be sure to visit our Welcome Center and talk to one of a variety of people available to answer your questions and provide you with printed resources on the ministries and events at our church.  Browse the rest of the website for even more information!

  • What if I'm not even sure I believe in God?
If you haven't made a decision to accept Christ, but would like to know more about it, you're definitely heading in the right direction!  We're excited that you're asking questions about spiritual things and how they might relate to your life.  You are welcome to explore answers to your questions here.  In addition, we encourage you to visit our Welcome Center and talk to one of our pastors there.

You may still have more questions. Please feel free to call us anytime - we'll be happy to take the time to answer any question you may have. Better yet, why not visit us this weekend and see for yourself what a great place FBC can be!
